Hello aspiring weaver !!

Here are pictures of some of our previous students and their weavings - approximate size is 12" x 24" ....
Hopefully, they will help you decide  which colors you would like to choose for your own weaving.

You need to choose a background color (al fondo) and then another color which will be
the stripes on each side (las orillas).   You can choose whatever combination you would like. A chance to experiment with your creativity !
These photo are simply to help you visualize some combinations ....

Please let me know what your two choices are so I can ask Lidia to warp the backstrap loom for you (if you so choose)
and have it ready and waiting for you when you would like to start weaving (extra $12 charge).

Comments from previous participants:

"I would recommend that anyone who wants to learn to weave get started with Lidia. She really is an excellent teacher. She was especially good at picking up your mistakes the moment you made them even when she was busy winding balls of cotton or chatting to a neighbor. She always had a watchful eye on you. Once you get a good base with her, learning with anyone else is all that easier, so the short time that I got to spend with her was really worthwhile.
I'LL DEFINITELY BE BACK!"
Laverne (a weaver living in Bolivia) March 2008

"The workshop was amazing. I was not expecting to fall in love with the family and their way of life. I enjoyed practicing my Spanish and learning about weaving.
I don't think that part of the trip could be improved, it's already so perfect!!   Susannah  July 2004

"My summer with you was one of the best I ever had. Hopefully,
I can catch up with you next summer or soon after.
Kiss the kids for me.  Fondly, Teena   July 2004
